Yes, the sponsors of the project want the project to be implemented as quickly and cost-effectively as possible, but there is a danger that this expectation will build up pressure, which in case of doubt will become a major burden on the entire project. Therefore, try to build sufficient buffers into the planning and show the sponsors what the consequences of saving these buffers would be.
