Group-wide ERP program to standardize processes and IT systems

The aim of the project was to optimize and harmonize the ERP landscape across the Group and to standardize the data model. In the process, systems had to be centralized, processes standardized and IT development, operation and maintenance costs optimized.

The scope included business processes in procurement, finance, human resources and logistics in Europe and the US. Furthermore, the agility of the company had to be improved by accelerating and simplifying the implementation of organizational and process-related changes.

Reorganization to spin off a business unit

The aim of the reorganization program was to spin off a business unit to implement a strategic externalization of the supply chain process and centralize all IT processes. The program was implemented in several waves in all subsidiaries worldwide. As part of this, processes were optimized and standardized, new systems were implemented accordingly, existing systems were adapted, and entire organizational units were changed or simplified.

As part of the Business Intelligence project, implementation was supported in 6 European countries as well as the US and Canada.

Implementation of the International Financial Reporting Standard IFRS16

The goal was to implement the IFRS16 reporting requirements (International Financial Reporting Standard 16 Leases) and to implement an optimal system solution.

For this purpose, the respective financial processes and systems were adapted and partially redesigned.

The solution was rolled out across the group and implemented with 12 interfaces to local systems in over 8 countries.
