International program to standardize processes and IT systems in global procurement

The aim was to identify the potential in the international procurement processes and solutions, derive measures and implement them in accordance with the project objectives within the time and budget frames.

As part of the program, more than 20 measures were implemented in over eight countries and two procurement systems (supplier, catalog) were integrated and standardized.

The scope covered business processes in procurement, finance, human resources and logistics in Europe and the US. Furthermore, the agility of the company was to be improved by accelerating and simplifying the implementation of organizational and process-related changes.

Worldwide rollout of an e-sourcing platform incl. service portfolio

The aim of the program was to implement an online auction and tender platform for strategic procurement and to ensure its use in 30+ national companies.

To increase usage, eight "Adoption Techniques" were defined and implemented. A core element was a service portfolio, which was made available in seven languages and supported by e-sourcing experts.
Over a period of five years, the platform was introduced as a standard and its use was established in over 95% of all procurement categories.

As part of the business intelligence project, implementation was supported in 6 European countries as well as the US and Canada.

Business and IT transformation in the context of an ERP program

The goal was to convert the ERP landscape to S/4 Hana and at the same time ensure group-wide harmonization and standardization of processes. The scope included finance, procurement, logistics and IT in Europe, Asia and America.

In addition, an e-procurement solution was introduced to digitally support strategic and operational procurement in a user-friendly and effective manner. Reducing process complexity, simplifying the system landscape and lowering operating costs were further driving factors.
